These moments move the story forward and set the stage for the next battle. In Gears this is always done after or before a big fire fight and the talking and walking doesn’t last that long. Like slowing down to walk and talk to your handlier. Instead of drawing more from their own DNA they start siphoning off from the second tier offspring. What happened with RE6 is that it tried to bite off too much from other third person shooters that were inspired by RE4. Again, why is this neccesary? Did the game think we wouldn’t take in the scenery if we could move at our own speed? I especially hate how game game forces me to walk so often. ![]()
